ART

We are fortunate in having a bright, spacious, well equipped Art room in our school.  All students study Art, Craft and Design in first year.  Thereafter Art is offered as an optional examination subject, in which students talent and creativity are developed through a variety of artistic disciplines – drawing, painting, life sketching, sculpture, pottery and three dimensional craftwork.  They are assisted in preparing a portfolio for entry into third level Art Courses and are encouraged to enter the various art Competitions – Texaco Art Competition, the Credit Union Design a Poster Competition.  Our school environment is enhanced by eye-catching displays of students’ work, reflecting the wealth of artistic talent in our school.Art Club is open to all art lovers every Monday evening from 3:50-4:40pm.

Our Computer Club is open to all students at lunch time and after school, allowing everyone the opportunity to work on projects in our well equipped computer room.
